Why It Matters

What a broker-led practice means for you.

In Florida, every sales associate works under a licensed broker who is ultimately responsible for the transaction. Brokers meet additional education and experience requirements, and they oversee the contracts, escrow, and compliance behind every deal their firm handles. With me, that oversight isn’t in a back office — it’s the person across the table from you.

i.

One point of accountability

No team of assistants or junior agents. Your questions go to the person responsible for your transaction.

ii.

Contract & risk expertise

Experience overseeing contracts and resolving issues across three brokerages, applied to protecting your position.

iii.

Business-minded negotiation

An MBA’s approach to pricing, leverage, and timing — treating your home as the major financial decision it is.

Choosing an Orlando REALTOR®

How to find the top real estate agents in Orlando

Search for the top REALTORS® in Orlando, FL — or the best real estate agent in Orlando — and you’ll find plenty of rankings and paid lists. Sales volume tells part of the story, but it doesn’t tell you who will actually handle your transaction or how well they’re trained. Before you choose, ask every agent these five questions — including me.

  1. 01Who will I actually work with? Many top-ranked teams pass clients to junior agents. Ask who shows homes and negotiates. With me, it’s the broker.
  2. 02Are you a broker or a sales associate?Florida brokers meet higher education and experience requirements. You can verify any license with the state’s DBPR lookup.
  3. 03What training do you have beyond a license?Designations like ABR, SRS, PSA, and CIPS require advanced coursework in exactly the work you’re hiring for.
  4. 04Do you know my neighborhood?Orlando is many markets. A Windermere lakefront and a Downtown condo need very different expertise.
  5. 05How will you price or negotiate?Ask for a specific strategy, not a promise. A good answer shows the comparable sales and the reasoning.

Background

An Orlando luxury real estate agent who is also the broker

Many people searching for a luxury real estate agent want two things: deep market knowledge and someone who will personally see the deal through. That’s the practice I’ve built. Originally from Pennsylvania, I chose Central Florida as home — which gives me a useful perspective for the many buyers who are making the same move. I hold an MBA, and I serve as Principal Broker for two respected Florida brokerages, including Local Choice Realty.

My personal practice focuses on luxury homes, lakefront estates, and gated communities across Orange and Seminole Counties, along with international and cross-border clients. I’ve pursued advanced training on both sides of the transaction, from buyer and seller representation to pricing strategy and new construction.
